Purple Hindu Kush
Lineage:

Traditional Classification:
Indica
Cultivar (Strain) Profile:
Purple Hindu Kush is a 100% pure indica strain with unknown parentage, although it is thought to have originated in the mountainous regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. This celebrity strain is a favorite of both breeders and patients alike thanks to its classic effects and gorgeous appearance. This bud has thick and tapered dark olive green nugs with purple undertones, thin light orange hairs and a spattering of frosty purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. As you pull apart each sparkling little nugget, aromas of sweet fruity grape and spicy flowers are released, turning pungent as the nugs are burned away. The flavor is very similar, with a sweet and spicy grape taste that's accented by earthy herbs and rich florals. The Purple Hindu Kush high is just as delicious, with effects that will lift you high before gently setting you back down into a sedative and peaceful state. You'll feel a sense of growing euphoria at the onset, filling your mind with a happy uplifted feeling and pushing out any negative or racing thoughts immediately. As your mind settles, your body will soon follow suit, dropping you into a heavily relaxed and couch-locked state that leaves you fully immovable and sedated.
